What to Expect
Elite Waxing Academy is a licensed waxing school offering a 115-credit-hour program required to become a licensed wax technician in Virginia.
We provide comprehensive instruction in all aspects of waxing, including theoretical knowledge, hands-on practical skills, and sanitation practices. Our program focuses on cultivating professional work habits and attitudes essential for success as a Wax Technician. Students will gain expertise through both classroom instruction and clinical experience.
A typical day at the academy combines theory, practical exercises, and clinical practice, ensuring a well-rounded education. This course is designed to be fast-paced, delivering extensive information within a condensed timeframe. Upon completion, all graduating students will meet the requirements for DPOR certification and be eligible to sit for the state licensure exam.
